Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is a city that blends history, culture, and shopping seamlessly. As I entered the bustling old city, I was captivated by its lively streets, brimming with shops selling intricate silver jewelry, colorful jootis, dazzling wedding attire, and handcrafted souvenirs. Every building exuded an old-world charm, taking me back in time.

1. Hawa Mahal –  Standing tall amidst the lively streets, Hawa Mahal’s honeycomb windows glow beautifully under the night sky. This architectural marvel is a must-visit, especially during the evening when it is beautifully illuminated.
2. Ajmer Fort – A short drive from the city centre leads to Ajmer Fort, a stunning fortress showcasing intricate Rajput architecture. Each wall whispers tales of history, making it an absolute delight for history buffs and photographers alike.
3. Nahargarh Fort – By dusk, I found myself at Nahargarh Fort, a spot famous for its breathtaking sunset views. The fort was also featured in the Bollywood film Rang De Basanti, adding a cinematic touch to my visit. From the terrace, Jaipur appeared as a sea of golden lights—an unforgettable sight.

2. City Palace – Situated by Lake Pichola, City Palace showcases the grandeur of the Mewar dynasty. Walking through its intricately designed corridors, I was transported to a time of kings and queens.
3. Monsoon Palace – Perched on a hilltop, Monsoon Palace is the perfect spot for catching golden-hour hues. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the twinkling lights of Udaipur below created a magical spectacle.
